Recent years have seen Kelly Rowland establish herself as one of R&B’s biggest acts. Initially, Kelly Rowland was under the shadow of Beyonce and Destiny’s Child. But, Kelly Rowland took time out of the spotlight in the wake of the birth of her son.
While Kelly Rowland was out of the spotlight, Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson became the king and queen of hip hop. As the heads of the label, Empire Enterprises, on FOX’s “Empire,” they own the industry. In real life, they owned the television ratings with “Empire.”
Season two of “Empire” premieres on September 23 on FOX. The show will have some pretty big guest stars this season, with Common and Oprah being among the people on their radar. A guest star who can be confirmed is Kelly Rowland, which the “Empire” writers announced on Twitter.
