This year is already on pace to be much different than others. For the first time since 2008, Janet Jackson will deliver a new album. After she left the country and married a billionaire, most safely assumed Janet Jackson was done with music.

But, can anyone ever say a Jackson is ever done with music? Janet Jackson released a very disappointing album in Discipline, an album most consider to be her worst. Taking such a long time off gives her the chance to come back and get it right.

Janet Jackson was recently revealed to be joining the BMG roster for her new album. Again, the floating title is Conversations In A Cafe, but it has not been confirmed as the title. Whatever the title is, Janet Jackson intends to release the album this fall under her own Rhythm Nation Records, which will operate under BMG.
