Jay Z raises close to $35,000 with TIDAL’s “Rally 4 Peace” concert, headlined by Prince

Quite a bit has been said about TIDAL, as the new premium music service has faced its fair share of struggles. Honestly, it looks like people are happy with the idea of Jay Z losing at something. But, TIDAL has done its fair share of giving back, too, regardless of what the motives may be.

Jay Z and TIDAL partnered with Prince to aid Baltimore, following the riots in the wake of Freddie Gray’s murder. In an effort to calm the rioting, they did the “Rally 4 Peace” concert. Prince headlined the concert and it was a major success.

Closing in on a month later, the final numbers are in. It looks like Jay Z, TIDAL, and Prince were able to raise a lot of capital for the city of Baltimore. The earnings from the concert were $34,646, as TIDAL subscribers donated $17,323 and the company matched it.
