The entertainment world is talking about Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson on “Empire,” win for hip hop? “Empire” is a hip hop-themed soap opera produced by Lee Daniels on FOX. This past television season saw the show become the highest-rated program on all of television.
Both Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson are veterans in the entertainment industry. They have starred in many notable urban films over the years. But, they made their mainstream splashes only a couple of years ago and “Empire” was their breakout.
Spike is capitalizing on the popularity of Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. They are having the “Empire” stars to host Guys Choice 2015, presenting for some of the biggest names in entertainment. Honorees and presenters confirmed to attend include Chris Pratt, Liam Neeson, LL Cool J, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sir Ben Kingsley, Avan Jorgia, Russell Westbrook and Hannah Davis.
The show airs on Spike on June 18 at 9 pm EST.
