All season long, the Golden State Warriors have been on a mission to prove they are the best. They, in one season, have managed to do what their rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers haven’t. For those questioning what this is, it is getting past the second round of the playoffs.
The Golden State Warriors are led, this season, by Stephen Curry, whose memorable performance earned him MVP. Sitting as one of the best players in the league, the Warriors went 67-15 on the season. But, they received a major scare from Memphis in the second round.
Since falling behind 2-1 to Memphis, Curry, Klay Thompson, and the Warriors are 6-0 and looked like they were going to cruise past the Houston Rockets in the Conference Finals. Now, their perfect season appears to be in jeopardy. Early in the closeout game four in Houston, Stephen Curry went for the block on Trevor Ariza, but flipped in mid-air and landed hard on his neck, exiting the game.
