During the summer of 2012, Trel Mack made his return to the game after taking a four year hiatus. Returning to the game, Trel Mack immediately delivered Inspired By Greatness, a well-received EP. Many expected more material from Trel Mack to come immediately.
But, Trel Mack ultimately decided he would take a little time off. This time off saw Trel Mack focus on his duties as one half of the business side of his label, SKE Records. During his hiatus from putting music out, Trel Mack opened the door for Petter Jones to have success.
However, Trel Mack has delivered the single, “The Routine,” and he has marketed it towards the radio. As an independent artist, Trel Mack is climbing the charts with the single. The track is doing well, already hitting number 75 on the National Independent Charts after only a few weeks of being on the radio rotation.
