Some people really dislike Kanye West because they feel as if he is always complaining. There are others who sympathize with Kanye West and his quest for excellence at all times. Currently, Kanye West is going for a different sound that is going above the heads of many.

Kanye West introduced this sound on Yeezus, an album panned by most following the strong reviews of Cruel Summer. Ironically, Cruel Summer wasn’t even an official Kanye West album, instead a label compilation. In the two years since then, Kanye West has begun working on a new album.

This weekend, Kanye West performed at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and he closed out the show. His dark, muted, performance led to him being panned by the viewers on Twitter and left him with more bad press in the news. Now, Kanye West is breaking his silence on the matter, saying the way his performance was handled was “ridiculous” and that he was “grossly over-censored.”
