Yesterday gave many hip hop fans the biggest surprise they thought they would ever receive. Promising up-and-coming star, Chinx, was shot and killed in Queens. Emerging as one of the game’s best and brightest, Chinx was a few steps away from stardom.
When it came to his music, Chinx exuded a larger than life persona. From the moment he broke through, Chinx made it look like he was on. But, he told Hot 97 that he had only had real financial success off the industry in recent months, back in 2013.
Chinx is dead and the entire hip hop world is in mourning over it. There is never a time when it doesn’t hurt to see someone die and Chinx is a man who had so much to live for. Yesterday afternoon, there were three men arrested in connection to the Chinx shooting from yesterday morning and there is another man who may be searched.
