Believing in oneself is one major part of the battle. When a person goes into anything, they have a better chance of victory when they believe in themselves. In the case of Troy Ave, he was one of many New York rappers fighting for supremacy, but he was the only one who claimed next.
Troy Ave made it clear his work wasn’t just to put himself on, he was restoring his whole city. From there, many people jumped on his wave and he’s had pretty big success. People can’t take away from the fact that he has a big fan base, no matter what else.
Independently, Troy Ave is preparing his sophomore album, Major Without A Deal, which is due on June 2. The new album has a lot of momentum behind it, due to Troy Ave’s constant promotion of the record. Guest appearances on the album come from Cam’ron, Fat Joe, Ty Dolla $ign, A$AP Ferg, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Snoop Dogg, Jeezy, Rick Ross, Puff Daddy, Mase, and T.I.
