Safe to say, not many people predicted the Golden State Warriors to come out and be as good as they were this year. Obviously expected to come in and make the playoffs again, no one saw what was coming. Their backcourt duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson was always fun.
The two went from being fun to watch and entertaining to lighting up the entire league. While Stephen Curry is firmly the leader of the Warriors, the world learned Klay Thompson is also a scoring machine. Their big effort and team oriented play led the Warriors to a 67-15 record.
In the first round of the playoffs, Stephen Curry led the Warriors to a sweep over the New Orleans Pelicans. As they prepare for the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round, Curry will have something to show off. No surprise here, Stephen Curry is the MVP of the 2014-2015 NBA season and it becomes official this afternoon.
