Montel Williams talks race, police brutality, domestic violence, career, talk show success, marijuana, politics, and more with “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Montel Williams Breakfast ClubOne of the biggest figures in urban entertainment history is Montel Williams, an iconic talk show host. It’s been seven years since Montel was on television daily. Since then, Montel Williams has latched himself onto many various causes.

Last year, Montel Williams joined the #DrakeSingforJasmin movement, urging Drake to sing at the funeral of Jasmin Grady. The college student was a native of Pender County, here in North Carolina. She was Drake’s biggest fan who died in a car accident and the campaign warmed Montel.

Montel Williams talked to “The Breakfast Club,” this morning, speaking to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy. Here, Montel Williams shared his unique views with the world, revealing he was behind the legalization of marijuana and he reflected on his time in the military. When he discussed the police brutality, Montel acknowledged the racism, but also pointed out many of the cops who commit murders are abuser of women and he went on to discuss his career in the media and how his show came together in the late 1980s and early 1990s and he shared his vision of a draft for a true national service.
