Beauty comes from everywhere and there is beauty in everything. Often, a lot is said about the beautiful women from the South, particularly in Atlanta and the Georgia area. The phrase used is “Georgia Peach” to describe what the ladies are working with.
Mz. Vina Stevens is definitely beautiful, looking like she drew beauty out of every ancestral channel. Her body is on point and it’s clear she has a “peach” of her own. A native of North Carolina, Mz. Vina Stevens is enough to make an argument about the beauty here in NC.
This week, Mz. Vina Stevens took out time to speak to Hip Hop Vibe for our Hottie of the Week interview. In the new interview, Mz. Vina Stevens broke down how she began her modeling career. She went on to discuss some of what she likes when it comes to other topics.

First, let me say it’s different interviewing a model with the same last name as me. Are we related (Laughs)? Tell us about your ethnic background and where you grew up. Yeah it is a little crazy (laughs), well my mother’s side has a Black and Asian mixture, and my father’s side is Black with some Cherokee Indian in his background as well.
How long have you been modeling and what inspired your start? Well, I did some fashion shows and a commercial from the age of 16 until 18. I stopped to focus on school, but I’m back and ready to get in the full swing of things. Time is what inspired me to start, it waits for no-one and I did not want to live with the regrets of never seeing where this industry would lead me.
Who would you say have been your biggest supporters? Well I’m originally from North Carolina, so I can’t say I have a full network of supporters here just yet. I just believe in myself and to me that’s something everyone can’t say.
What are your some of your turn on’s in the opposite sex? A man that’s not perfect, but reverences God with leadership qualities that demand respect. He also has to be thoughtful and affectionate of course.
What do you do to keep your body sexy, work out wise, and do you have any beauty secrets you would like to share? I workout almost everyday, it’s a passion of mine even if I only do cardio one day and nothing else. The secret would be push yourself past what you think you can do. Everybody already knows in order to see results you have to eat right and drink plenty of water. Just stay away from bread, pasta, and white rice while in the loosing phase. One secret is that I do use and distribute Herbalife products as well to keep my protein up and calories down. Some women are afraid to pick up weights and that may be the one thing holding them back from achieving the curves they want to see in the mirror. Just push and then push even harder.
What projects do you have upcoming and what photographers have you worked with? Honestly, I’m still finding my path. There have been a few offers but I’m being very circumspect in how I present myself. As models we brand ourselves by the pictures we take and not just what we look like. I’ve seen photos of models that were nude but the photo was truly artistic. On the other hand, I’ve seen models take pictures with a cute outfit on that looks too trashy. Photography is an art. I mean anybody can buy a camera and take pics but who’s going to admire them? I did a shoot with photographer MYMANBRISCOE aka BRISCOEGRAPHY not too long ago that went very well.
Do you find it difficult to have a relationship and model at the same time? Not really. It’s all a state of mind.
When you think of the words “Sexy” and “Seductive” what comes to mind? Sexy to me means confident. I’ve seen a 250 pound woman at a woman’s empowerment fashion show that walked better that any of the size two models I’ve ever seen. What comes to mind when I think of seduction would be an arched back (laughs) I don’t think anyone would disagree with that.
A man could get lost staring into your eyes. Describe to us what experiencing passion with Vina is like? I can be kinda shy at first but once I’m comfortable I’m on a whole other level.
