Ja Rule talks being in prison with Tyco CEO, Dennis Kozlowski, on CNBC [VIDEO]

In the early 2000s, Ja Rule rose from being the perceived “third wheel” to both Jay Z and DMX to being on top of the game. Hip hop never saw as many consecutive hits. Records set by Ja Rule still stand at Def Jam, the most-iconic hip hop record label.

As quickly as Ja Rule rose to the top, he fell to the bottom. A series of unfortunate events ended with Ja Rule in prison, which inspired the book, Unruly. Last year, Ja Rule talked to Hip Hop Vibe about this book and his career.

Ja Rule is supposed to release his new album this year and to begin starring in his MTV reality show. But, Ja Rule was tapped by CNBC to be a part of their White Collar Convicts: On The Inside. Here, Ja Rule talked about being in prison with Dennis Kozlowski, the CEO of Tyco and in the trailer for the show, Rule spoke.
