No rapper could ever do what Kanye West does, as he embodies so much in one person. Few rappers could ever transition into the lane Kanye West did via Kim Kardashian and remain so controversial. But, the way he does things still endears him to the mainstream, even when they hate him.
Kanye West has always known it could be this way, evidenced by some of his older music. While Kanye West loves his present and lives for his future, his past is still making noise. His ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, continues to make appearances and his name sometimes comes up.
Tonight, Kanye West was with his wife, Kim Kardashian, at the Time 100 Gala. Here, he and Kim were on the red carpet at the same time as Amy Schumer, the same woman who made out with Amber Rose at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards and who Rose proudly said she’d go lesbian for. Amy stumbled and fell in front of Kanye West at the Gala and Kanye calmly walked right past her with no reaction.
