Despite being arguably the biggest rapper in the game, Drake receives a lot of flack. Yes, this does come with being on top, as guys like Ja Rule and Jay-Z got their fair share when they were on top, but Drake catches it much harder. Last night was no different for Drake at Coachella.
Drake is easily the star of Coachella 2015, as his makeout session with Madonna dominated headlines last weekend. This weekend, Drake brought out Nicki Minaj. But, there were no theatrics, just more reasons for the fans to pile on him.
One thing Drake did was congratulate Nicki Minaj, leading many to believe her mother saying Nicki isn’t engaged to Meek Mill was a fakeout. While Drake had people talking with that, it did nothing to deflect all the negative attention on Twitter. Those who saw Drake’s Coachella performance showed him no love on Twitter, insulting him.
