Even before his Maybach Music days, Meek Mill dropped straight flame with his mixtapes. This is what led to Meek Mill signing to Maybach Music when his momentum was at an all-time high. Many of his 2011 mixtape tracks were placed on the initial Self Made album.
Meek Mill made a major splash when he released his Dreams & Nightmares debut album. Support from the whole industry was there and momentum grew for him. In 2014, Meek Mill was gearing up to release his next album when he got sidelined.
Among coming back, Meek Mill was immediately thrust into the headlines due to his relationship with Nicki Minaj. While people are always talking about him and Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill fans are ready for some new music. There is buzz on the internet of Meek Mill releasing a new mixtape, possibly this week.
