Wale talks “The Album About Nothing,” Jerry Seinfeld, personal struggles, and more with Larry King [VIDEO]

Wale Larry KingThe past couple of years have seen Wale emerge as one of hip hop’s biggest figures. When he first got signed in 2008, this is what people expected Wale to be. But, following the release of his debut album, Wale was looking like a bust.

Unsigned and spending time in Miami at the strip clubs, Wale ended up meeting Rick Ross. This chance meeting led to a friendship and then a deal with Maybach Music. Last week, Wale released his third album with the label, The Album About Nothing, with Jerry Seinfeld.

Wale recently talked to Larry King for “Larry King Now,” sitting down to discuss his new work. He explained The Album About Nothing inspiration and his friendship with Jerry Seinfeld, which continues to grow. As the interview went on, Wale talked about his personal struggles and much more.
