Being the man means being the one who has to deal with everything. A decade ago, Lil Wayne took it upon himself to take the self-appointed position Jay-Z vacated. This led to a bit of back-and-forth between the two emcees last named Carter.
Lil Wayne has moved on since then and Miami has become a second home to him. When he was a happy member of Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne proudly repped the label alongside DJ Khaled. In 2012, DJ Khaled brought We The Best to YMCMB with Ace Hood in tow.
Much has changed since then, but DJ Khaled appears to still be in support of Lil Wayne. That, however, is the only difference, as Lil Wayne ended up having South Florida highly upset with him, at least one fan. Showing up three hours late to his Fort Lauderdale concert, Lil Wayne faced a disrespectful fan, but it was dealt with very quickly.
