Every year means having to deal with some new kind of change and losing someone. Few people would’ve guessed the change and loss would come from the A$AP Mob. When many think of this crew, they think of the energy and the life they bring to everything.
In 2011, A$AP Rocky rose to become one of the game’s biggest new stars and the frontman for the A$AP Mob. The boss and the brains behind the operation, however, was A$AP Yams. It was his quick thinking that led to the major label deals that followed.
A$AP Rocky was the man who found A$AP Yams on that fateful day and this means he has taken the loss especially hard. MTV’s Nadeska Alexis sat down with A$AP Rocky and they talked about the loss of A$AP Yams. The interview was very in-depth and passionate, as A$AP Rocky talked about the life and death of his friend.
