Over the years, Baby Boy has become a hood classic. The film is notable for being Tyrese’s first acting role. Meanwhile, the movie also was the first major role Taraji P. Henson held and she has since gone onto much greener pastures.
Baby Boy also included a prominent role featuring Snoop Dogg. With the exception of Tyrese, Baby Boy went on to fuel many elements of TV smash hit, “Empire.” Even Anthony Hamilton, included on the film soundtrack, did an “Empire” cameo.
But, Baby Boy is getting a more official look when TV One revisits the film. TV One is featuring the entire Baby Boy cast for tomorrow’s “Unsung: Hollywood” season finale. Also featured will be Richard Roundtree and the episode takes place at 8 pm tomorrow on TV One, check local listings.
