Easily, “Empire” is the big winner this television season, although the debut season was brief. But, it was long enough for the world to realize that Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard still have chemistry. This trickled down to their on-screen children.
Trai Byers, Jussie Smollett, and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray were definitely convincing as the children of the power couple. With both Henson and Howard known for films, it was a major coup to get them on TV. They will bring it back next season, meaning more looks at Cookie’s cakes.
