Terrence Howard, through his portrayal of Lucious Lyon on FOX’s hit series, “Empire,” has taken over the entertainment world. Now, it looks like he also is being a force in real life. The “Empire” series definitely is making people look at the real life hip hop world.
While Lucious Lyon is living the life of a hip hop mogul, there is a former mogul going through it. After killing a man during a hit-and-run, Suge Knight immediately ended up in jail. Currently, Suge Knight is standing trial and being held on $25 million bail.
Appearing in court, earlier today, Suge Knight’s lawyer called the judge out for unfair treatment. After the survivor of the hit-and-run admitted to beating Suge Knight up and continuing to if he stayed, the judge said the treatment his client received was harsh. In fact, he ventured to say Suge Knight was paying for Lucious Lyon’s crimes, for which Terrence Howard’s character is also in prison.
