Juvenile talks “Mardi Gras II” mixtape with Hip-Hop Wired [VIDEO]

Juvenile Hip-Hop WiredIn the mid and late 1990s, New Orleans hip hop ended up carving a place on the national hip hop map. This period in time saw the emergence of powerhouse labels, No Limit Records and Cash Money Records. With that, guys like Juvenile ended up blowing up.

Juvenile brought a unique sound to the game and had everyone rocking with him. A major moment, early in Juvenile’s career, came when he was co-signed by Jay-Z. This led to him coming to New Orleans and the “Ha” remix with him, DMX, and Ja Rule.

Currently, Juvenile is working on Mardi Gras II, his latest mixtape. He recently sat down with Hip-Hop Wired and the topic of this mixtape came up. During the interview, Juvenile spoke on what fans should expect from him in this new release.
