Ever since his explosive 2012 debut, Trinidad James has stuck out as one of hip hop’s more unique figures. The Atlanta rapper is responsible for the hit single, “All Gold Everything,” which owned the radio. Soon, Def Jam came calling, but they hung up on Trinidad James last summer.

However, nothing can take away from the impression Trinidad James left on the game. While Trinidad James hasn’t had as big of an impact with a record since his first single, he remains a big name. As the ongoing debate about the N-Word picks up, Trinidad James spoke up.

Previously, “Empire” star, Terrence Howard spoke in favor of the world, saying they should use it on the show, which many including Method Man, shot down. But, Trinidad James ended up speaking about the word on CNN with Don Lemon. Bantering with Don Lemon, Trinidad James had a memorable exchange with him.
