Recently, Madonna has made many comments that have led to her appearing in hip hop headlines. With Drake naming his new track off his surprise mixtape/album “Madonna,” he got a lot of attention from the woman herself. She also named Kanye West the black version of her.
Madonna always had hip hop appeal and the rap world has always seemed to like her. But, Madonna never appeared to be very much involved in the hip hop world. Looks can be deceiving, however, as Madonna was more hip hop than some may have thought.
During a recent interview with Howard Stern, Madonna revealed she was dating Tupac a year, or so, before he died. Addressing one of her wildest interviews, in 1995 with David Letterman, she revealed why the interview was so wild. Madonna said she had just been with Tupac Shakur and he had her feeling very “gangsta.”
