Recently, Common made his return to “The Breakfast Club,” officially sitting down with them. After his big win at the 87th Annual Academy Awards, Common called into “The Breakfast Club.” Of course, Common is riding the momentum of his win, still.

Common performed his track, “Glory (Selma),” with John Legend. The song ended up winning Common an Oscar and showing how far he has come over the past two decades. This is a big move for Common and his native Chicago.

“The Breakfast Club” welcomed Common to sit down with them. He talked to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy, discussing his Oprah diss, Serena Williams, and winning an Oscar. Later in the interview, Common touched on Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, and many other Chicago-area rappers.
