The Notorious B.I.G. died eighteen years ago today, a long time before social media, but the whole world was reacting to losing him. This occurred only weeks before The Notorious B.I.G. was to release Life After Death, his second studio album. Already, the single, “Hypnotize,” was beginning to impact the radio and would be joined by such records as “Sky’s The Limit” with 112. Now considered a hip hop classic, the album featured appearances from Jay-Z, the aforementioned 112, R. Kelly, The L.O.X., Angela Winbush, DMC, Mase, Puff Daddy, Lil’ Kim, and more.
