Until the past five years, Trick Daddy held the position as the most-notable rapper from Miami. But, consistently since 2010, Rick Ross, another former Slip-N-Slide rapper, holds that title. First, Rick Ross surprised the world with his consistent hit records.
But, Rick Ross really surprised people when he expanded the roster of his label, Maybach Music. Initially, a small label that consisted of his crew, the label signed Wale and Meek Mill. They have since held it down as one of the hottest crews in the game.
Wale surprised many when he teamed up with Jerry Seinfeld for his album, The Album About Nothing. But, Rick Ross now has a comedian in the studio with him. While his recent pics on Instagram have him with Bill Murray, it’s not clear if they are doing a complete album together.
