G-Unit talks “The Beast Is G-Unit,” Effen Vodka, reunion, and more with “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Well-documented was the rise and fall of G-Unit, which started as a group and grew to become a full-service record label. During its peak, the G-Unit label housed the core of 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and Tony Yayo, along with Mobb Deep and M.O.P. But, then changes came.

50 Cent had public disputes with Young Buck and Olivia, letting the latter leave the label. Meanwhile, M.O.P. left G-Unit and Interscope Records forced them to drop Mobb Deep. Interscope Records also dropped Lloyd Banks, but 50 Cent kept him on G-Unit.

With all of those changes came tension and it looked like 50 Cent had issues with even Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo, until he didn’t. Instead, 50 Cent reunited G-Unit and they immediately dropped a new project, The Beauty of Independence, with The Beast Is G-Unit coming next. 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo stopped by Power 105.1 to talk to “The Breakfast Club’s” Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy about the new project, Effen Vodka, the reunion, and much more.
