Late last year, the United States had a meeting with Cuba and it was the first time Fidel Castro had dealings with America in decades. Given the tone of things, it looked like peace could be on the horizon. Just a year prior, Jay-Z and Beyonce went on vacation in Cuba, causing much drama.
During this time, Dr. Dre was enjoying life as a mogul in the lower hundred millions. Times have definitely changed since then, as Dr. Dre is now hip hop’s richest mogul. His net worth is currently near $800 million and he is an executive with Apple.
Dr. Dre is excited for the future and rightfully so, given how good the past has been to him. The possibility of Cuba being free to visit without violating major US laws is enticing. Taking to Twitter, Dr. Dre expressed his desires to travel to Cuba and perform.
