50 Cent owns Ja Rule’s publishing after new business deal?

Two things hip hop fans can always count on is 50 Cent not liking Ja Rule and him always pulling off major business deals. Even as 50 Cent went from rap stardom to business tycoon, no one ever thought he’d take the beef with Ja Rule to business. Now, it seems like he is.

Ja Rule talked to Hip Hop Vibe, last year, about his book, Unruly, which chronicles his life. The book encompasses Ja Rule becoming rap’s biggest figure and then his beef with 50 Cent. Of course, the latter part, leading up to his prison sentence brought 50 Cent joy.

Now, there is a rumor of 50 Cent purchasing Murder Inc. Records for $50,000 and owning Ja Rule’s publishing. It makes for a good story of 50 Cent coming back on the business end to finish Ja Rule off, but his publishing is not owned by the defunct Murder Inc. Records and his catalog is worth millions. The way the original story reads comes off as a hoax, but it makes for an interesting story.
