Anybody who watches “Love & Hip Hop” on VH1 knows Bow Wow’s name keeps popping up. Those not paying attention may not realize the guy named Shad, who Erica Mena is in love with, is Bow Wow. Back in the early 2000s, Bow Wow was one of the hottest rappers out.
However, Bow Wow was hit with a rough patch that slowed him down. A situation where Bow Wow got slowed down did not stop him. Instead, it made him stronger. Since 2012, Bow Wow has worked for BET as a media personality. In addition, he was the last host of “106 & Park.”
Even better for Bow Wow, he was cast on the new “CSI” drama on CBS. But just like LL Cool J, he is still a rapper. It has been six years since Bow Wow dropped his last album and retired, but he’s been recording his last album since 2010. Recently, Bow Wow shared a photo of him and Big K.R.I.T. in the studio on Instagram.
