Older hip hop heads definitely know who Grand Daddy I.U. is. Originally from Queens, Grand Daddy I.U. grew up in Long Island and took an early interest in hip hop. Literally watching the culture’s birth, Grand Daddy I.U. became a force in the game.

Biz Markie signed him to the iconic Cold Chillin’ Records and released two albums in the 1990s. First came Smooth Assassin in 1990 and he followed up with 1994’s Lead Pipe. Grand Daddy I.U. later transitioned into becoming more of a producer and behind the scenes guy.

Grand Daddy I.U. last delivered a new album, eight years ago, with Stick to the Script, which is his third album. Now, Grand Daddy I.U. is working on his fourth album and it is coming up soon. Currently, Grand Daddy I.U. is working on P.I.M.P. (Paper Is My Priority), which he released the artwork and track listing for.
