Suddenly, it’s just like 2003-2004 again, 50 Cent and G-Unit are all over the place. They are grinding like they were before Interscope Records signed 50 Cent and then G-Unit. The only difference is the addition of Kidd Kidd to the roster.
While G-Unit overcame the odds and got back together, Kidd Kidd’s former label home, Young Money/Cash Money, is falling apart. The heads of the respective labels, Lil Wayne and Birdman, are at odds. Upset over his continued album delay, Lil Wayne wants off Cash Money Records.
50 Cent and G-Unit sat down with Nadeska Alexis of MTV News and they addressed hip hop’s hottest topics. In the current clip, 50 Cent spoke on the beef between Birdman and Lil Wayne. At one point, 50 Cent attempted to beef with them, but that is in the past and now he said he is surprised they are at odds and feels they will rejoin forces in the future.
