Long Beach rapper, Joey Fatts, is one of the most-talented newer acts in the game. At a time when Los Angeles area rappers are really prospering, he stands a good chance of making a major impact. His co-sign from superstar, Waka Flocka Flame, certainly helped matters.
It turns out, there are more similarities between Joey Fatts and his label boss than previously known. In 2011, Waka Flocka Flame infamously quit the industry, due to fakeness. This afternoon, Joey Fatts announced his retirement for similar reasons.
Joey Fatts posted a rant, which he has since deleted, perhaps due to a change of heart, where he airs out the industry. He says he is tired of fake trap rappers and he is making the decision to quit the rap game. Fresh off the release of Ill Street Blues, Joey Fatts tells his followers to “enjoy the madness.”
