Over the past couple of years, Young Sam has made himself a force on the hip hop scene on the West Coast. This year, the Los Angeles rapper hopes to emerge on a mainstream level. Certainly, Young Sam would not be the only rapper from the Greater Los Angeles area to emerge this year.
Young Sam talked to Hip Hop Vibe’s DJ Louie Styles, a longtime friend, during his last visit to New York City. In the interview, Young Sam talked about Trapfornia 2, his upcoming mixtape. This project is to be hosted by both DJ Carisma and DJ Mustard.
Momentum is building for Young Sam, who did plenty of promotion for Trapfornia 2 on Instagram. Sharing several fan-made covers, Young Sam revealed the release date in one of the posts, later deleted. But, the mixtape is due for release on March 5.
