Chris Brown talks Grammy nomination and his “wall of greatness” mural at museum featuring Michael Jackson, James Brown, Prince, and himself

Without a doubt, Chris Brown is a gifted artist and he is arguably the top current male R&B star. But, most would agree that he has a long way to go before being considered a legend. He made the right steps with the release of X, his sixth studio album.

The album included the hit single, “New Flame,” featuring Usher and Rick Ross. This song was nominated for a Grammy, but ultimately did not win an award. To date, Chris Brown only scored one Grammy and it came in 2012 for F.A.M.E.

Before the Grammys started, on Sunday, E!’s Ryan Seacrest caught up with Chris Brown to speak on his nomination. They also talked about Chris Brown’s mural he painted at the Grammy museum, which includes Michael Jackson, Prince, and himself. Chris Brown explained that he painted himself in the mural, because this is where he aspires to be in his career.
