After performing with Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz during the halftime show at the Super Bowl, Missy Elliott has been everywhere. Back in the day, Missy Elliott was one of the top artists out. Illness has held her back from being as active as she once was, however.
But, Missy Elliott emerged after spending most of the past ten years out of the spotlight. Her performance was scene stealing and a lot of younger fans thought Missy Elliott was a new artist. Most importantly, her iTunes sales and Spotify streams dramatically increased.
Missy Elliott recently called in to “Sway In The Morning” on Shade 45 to talk to Sway. In their interview, Missy Elliott talked to Sway about the attention she’s received since she performed at the Super Bowl. They also talked about the Young Thug interview, where he had a lot to say about Jay-Z rapping at an older age.
