Only two years ago, Cash Money Records appeared to be on top of the rap world. This is when the label boasted such talents as Busta Rhymes and Mystikal on the main label. Meanwhile, the sub labels boasted such talent as Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Drake, and Ace Hood.
DJ Khaled is a force who helped bring new life to the Miami hip hop scene, joined Cash Money in 2010. By 2012, he brought his whole label to the YMCMB regime. But, in the midst of all the drama, it looks like Khaled separated himself from Birdman, too.
Sources close to Birdman told TMZ that he is upset with Lil Wayne for how he handled his frustrations. For years, Birdman considered Lil Wayne as a son and many believed they were actual father and son early on. But, he is upset with Lil Wayne for taking all of this public, which disrespected the family.
