VH1 has relied on K. Michelle, for the past three years, to drive ratings to their network. Although a Memphis native, K. Michelle rose to national fame on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” During the second season, K. Michelle saw her music career take off.
To assist K. Michelle in her ascension, VH1 moved her to the main version of “Love & Hip Hop” for a season. Her part in “Love & Hip Hop” was essentially the prequel for her own reality show. Last fall, K. Michelle starred in “My Life” on VH1.
K. Michelle had solid ratings throughout the first season of “My Life,” following “Love & Hip Hop.” But, the first season of the show recently wrapped and the controversial “Sorority Sisters” is airing in its place. While it’s not likely VH1 is bringing that series back, K. Michelle confirmed on Instagram that her show is coming back.
