Six years ago, Zaytoven saw his popularity rise from the Atlanta mixtape scene to the national landscape. This was due to OJ Da Juiceman finding success behind “Make Da Trap Say Aye,” his breakout single. A household name ever since, Zaytoven expanded.
Zaytoven continued to produce, but he also decided to do films. His first film effort was Birds of a Feather and it features many Atlanta-area artists. The movie did well and it laid the groundwork for Zaytoven to do another film.
DJ Smallz recently sat down with Zaytoven and he talked about the films he has done. He discussed Birds of a Feather and how the film made four times as much as it cost him to create the production. Following this movie, Zaytoven released Finesse on Christmas and he talked to DJ Smallz about when his next film would come.
