Closing the year out, Fabolous surprised the hip hop world with the release of The Young OG Project, his new album. The album is his sixth overall and it coincided with Fabolous signing with Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s company. Now, the future is looking bright for Fabolous.
Fabolous previously had not released an album for five years and only dropped two under Def Jam. The lead single, “Lituation,” gained a lot of attention simply based on its title. But, for the most part, Fabolous stayed away from doing anything on the commercial level.
Currently, Fabolous is making his way through New York media and he stoppe by ThisIs50.com to talk to Jack Thriller. In the interview, Fabolous talked about the “Lituation” record, as it is doing well. He also talked about The Young OG Project, Bill Cosby, Eric Garner, and him meeting The Notorious B.I.G. for the first time.
