Last year, Fabolous appeared finally ready to return to the mainstream and he had a couple of big singles. First, he had the radio-friendly, “Ready,” featuring Chris Brown and then “When I Feel Like It,” which featured 2 Chainz. But, no album came from Fabolous then.
For most of 2014, Fabolous kept silent and didn’t release much music. He announced The Young OG Project last month and most assumed this was a new mixtape. They were in for a major surprise, as Fabolous made this into his sixth album and signed a management deal with Roc Nation.
Fabolous sat down with Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez for Rosenberg’s late night show on Hot 97. While he was there, Fabolous discussed The Young OG Project, which is out now. He went on to touch on several other topics in the interview.
