Early this year, Bobby Shmurda released the “Hot N*gga” single and it became a massive hit this summer. In the wake of “Hot N*gga” taking off, several rappers have jumped on it for remixes. This led to Bobby Shmurda signing a deal with Epic Records.
Bobby Shmurda released his first major label project, Shmurda She Wrote, earlier this year. Currently, he has a new single, “Bobby Bitch,” that is also beginning to take off. But, this week saw Bobby Shmurda get arrested following possession of illegal weapons.
The charges against Bobby Shmurda include Conspiracy in the Second Degree, Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree. He faces one of the first charge at twenty-five years, three counts of the second at twelve years, one count of the third at one year, two counts of the fourth at thirty years, and three counts of the final at three years, totaling 71 years.
