During Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, Stacey Dash was one of his most-vocal critics. This came as a bit of a shock, as Stacey Dash supported him in 2008. But, she told Fox News that she wasn’t pleased with his performance.
Stacey Dash, previously, was one of the biggest sex symbols of the urban audience. Hip hop loved Stacey Dash, the first cousin of Damon Dash, the popular hip hop mogul. After pulling her support for Obama and criticizing him, she lost that.
During an interview with Edit Magazine, Stacey Dash revealed she also lost some familial support. Two men very close to her, Darien (her brother) and her aforementioned cousin, Damon Dash, stopped talking to her. In addition to this, Stacey Dash revealed she received a lot of negative tweets from disappointed fans.
