This year, YG obviously saw his stock rise, as he was finally given a release date for his debut album, My Krazy Life. Less than a year after dropping his debut album, YG released his new project, Blame It On The Streets, his new album and movie. Despite his explosive debut, YG found himself not being nominated for a Grammy.
Obviously, YG is disappointed, but he is not surprised by this turn of events. Recently, YG vented to Big Boy on Power 106 about not being nominated for a Grammy. While he is upset at not being nominated, YG showed much love for ScHoolboy Q, his fellow Los Angeles emcee, and Iggy Azalea, as he came up with both of them.
YG also talked to DJ Skee and they touched on a few of these topics. Mainly, YG came into his show to discuss Blame It On The Streets, the new short film. While he was there, the topic of the Grammys came up and YG explained his stance on being snubbed for the nomination and much more.
