Those who are really on point with their hip hop know who Chip Fu is and they know all about Fu-Schnickens. But, there is much more to Chip Fu than just making music. In actuality, Chip Fu is one of the only accomplished artists in hip hop who actually wants to help others make it into the industry.
Chip Fu attended the Manual Music Conference and he was there to give advice to the artists trying to make it into the game. While often looked at as a joke, hip hop is a multibilliondollar business, as proven by the Beats by Dre/Apple deal. Many people want to get in the game for various reasons and those in the game clearly know more about it.
Hip Hop Vibe had the chance to talk to Chip Fu and he revealed his work that goes much deeper than hip hop. In the interview, Chip Fu discussed his new school initiative, M.A.A.T.H. (Music Appreciation Art Time Healing) and unity in hip hop. While he was out there, Chip Fu also provided advice for artists getting in the game.
