With the flagship “Love & Hip Hop” returning to VH1 next week, the show had a major event to reintroduce it. This season, there are a couple of departures, with Tahiry Jose and her on/off lover, Joe Budden no longer with the show. Last month, DJ Louie Styles talked to Tahiry Jose during the 2014 Global Spin Awards.
However, the rest of “Love & Hip Hop,” both the show and the franchise, are reading all the internet headlines. What caused a lot of buzz, online, was Yung Berg and Benzino being fired on the heels of each other. Following the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” reunion show, Yung Berg fought Masika and was fired, meanwhile Benzino was fired for fighting Stevie J.
Mona Scott-Young, the creator of “Love & Hip Hop,” caught up with VladTV at their premiere event. While there, Mona Scott-Young talked to them about the firing of Yung Berg and Benzino, following their reunion fights. She managed to explain just how everything played out.
