Recently, Lil Wayne surprised almost everyone. He revealed he was disgruntled with his label home, Cash Money Records. This is the only label Lil Wayne has ever called home and he was even the president of the label once. Throughout his career, Lil Wayne has always referred to Birdman as his father.
Lil Wayne went from being one of the Hot Boyz to being seriously touted as the best rapper in the game. Some said he was on par with Jay-Z and other legends. During this run, Lil Wayne credited the support of his “daddy” as motivation. As he winds his career down with Tha Carter V, things have changed from Lil Wayne’s perspective.
This morning, Lil Wayne ranted on Instagram and said he wanted off of the label, once again. But, the post that stuck out was Lil Wayne’s second Instagram post of the day. He said he is a prisoner, along with his creativity. In addition, he thanks the fans for waiting it out with him during this whole ordeal.
