Over the past few years, DJ Superstar Jay has become one of the most-known DJs in the entire New York City area. This comes following years of hard work on the mixtape scene and helping break many major artists. Joining Shade 45 and teaming up with DJ Self for a popular show certainly didn’t hurt matters, either.
DJ Superstar Jay is one of the leading DJs in the game, so he was definitely front and center for the 2014 Global Spin Awards. As evidenced by the Hip Hop Vibe interviews over the past couple of weeks, the place was packed with big name celebrities. Superstar Jay’s name says it all, he was in the right place.
Hip Hop Vibe caught up with DJ Superstar Jay on the red carpet of the 2014 Global Spin Awards. He stopped and did a brief interview, taling about his nomination for ‘Best Mixtape DJ’ and he spoke on his upcoming projects. Among his next releases is Why Not?, which is his first album.
